Charlotte – Toronto Condo Kitchen Project

Our Challenge

To transmogrify a tiny, impractical condominium kitchen in Toronto into a minimalistic but functional industrial-feel kitchen.

Project Date : SUMMER 2017

The

Morra Solution

We felt that slab doors, tile backsplash and quartz counter would compliment the stark concrete walls and ceiling. We implemented a textured wood grain on the doors to counter the hardness of the surrounding surfaces. The aged barn board cladding on the island breaks up the geometric shapes with it’s unpredictable graining and patterns. Finally we wanted for a prominent metal accent and had custom black iron lighting fixtures made. The new space was now both functional, with plenty of counter and storage space, and a perfect place to entertain.
